hey everyone! i have not been online in a while because of practice and school.
so, state was this weekend and it was a lot of fun! i swam two individual events and 4 relays. i swam 200 and 100 breaststroke. i have a huge story for the 200, so i'll talk about the 100. i made it back to finals with a 1:11.11 in the 100 breaststroke, and was able to wear my TYR Tracer at finals! i finally broke 1:10, and got 1:09.73!!!!!!!!!!! i was so happy! i got 9th in the 15-16 group, but would've gotten 6th if i hadn't bombed my first race. ug. oh well
so, back to the 200 breast. i was nervous, and swam a 1:37 in prelims. on the last 75 of the race, i couldn't breath. i thought i was going to be fine, but when i made it back to prelims and swam it, i dived in and couldn't breath at all. i was not and could not go through a whole 200 without being able to breath, so i stopped after a 100. my coach came over, told me to get out, and then talked to me about it. i was crying and i was so disappointed that i wasn't able to finish. i went to the doctor afterward, and she told me that they couldn't find anything wrong with me. that means that i do not have asthma, and the reason why my throat was closing up is because i was nervous and thinking that i wouldn't be able to do good on my race. after that, i was fine for the rest of the weekend.
so that's my story. i got a 27.93 in my 50 free for relay, 1:01.8 in 100 free for relay, 32.02 in 50 breast for relay, and 1:09.8 in 100 breast for relay. i did very well in this meet, and am happy with my performance. see ya!

Using
NLP in Sport
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is
the process of creating models of excellence. Modelling is the complex activity
of capturing in a learnable transferable code the differences that make a
difference between an excellent performer and an average performer, between an
excellent athlete and an average one, a person who is motivated to get the best
out of themselves in training and one who is not. NLP, then, is the process of
identifying, coding and transferring precisely those differences in a learnable
form to the interested participants and companies to allow significant
upgrading of their performance to levels of excellence.
Results in sport depend crucially on your ability to use your
mind effectively. Many elite athletes say the mental aspects of sport make the
difference between being a champion or not. As little
as 1% can be the difference between
being a champion and being ranked 50th in the world! what ever the level
of sport your compete or coach at, or whether your a teacher a fitness
professional your mind set has a major influence of the degree of success and
fulfilment you achieve in your sport

So, I enjoy following the Olympics every two years, and it has always been my life goal to compete in the Olympics someday. Well, I was doing this project on the Vancover 2010 Olympics when I came across information on the Youth Olympics. I was literally bouncing up and down with joy. I had never heard about this until then. Now, my coach and I are training hard for the 2014 Youth Olympics! (I'm not able to go to the 2010 summer olympics) Well that shows how connected I am with the news!

Wow I had soooooooooo much fun watching the Winter Olympics in Vancouver
Team Korea rocked!!
We didn't get medal only in short track but also in speed skating and figure
skating as well!!
And Yuna Kim! wow! She was PERFECT!!
It's too bad that Korean team was disqualified in Ladies' 3000m relay ![]()
But I'm sure that they will rock in Sochi 2014!!
And great job for all of the athletes who competed in Vancouver
GO KOREA!!

Smoking Hypnosis Miami Forum
Smoking Hypnosis Miami Forum - If you have already gone through hypnosis sessions and found it quite useful in giving your life a positive turn, it is time that you considered self hypnosis as well. With self hypnosis, you can save time, money and also go through therapy as per your convenience.
For example, if you are consulting an expert today, you may have to schedule interviews with them for therapy. This may not always be convenient for you with regards to time. At the same time, these sessions can be quite expensive, and you may have to shell out a good deal of money for this.
Now if you considered self hypnosis, all you would require to pay attention to would be getting hold of a good self hypnosis training program, and learning the techniques in details. You may be required to demonstrate a good deal of patience and discipline through these sessions, especially when you are going for it on your own.
Simple meditation and self hypnosis can be the first step towards enhancing the power of your mind. The rest comes with time, discipline and practice. The more you make your mind work, the more power it will gain. Most of us use a very small fraction of our mind, and it might be a good thing to start thinking about utilizing the whole brain to make our lives better.
Therefore consider hypnosis as a friend, and learn how to enhance the power of your mind, and there can be much more on the plate for you than you have ever imagined!
